The Shortlands Farm campsite is the perfect model of Pembrokeshire camping. We don’t tell you where to pitch, it’s up to you but we do ask you to respect your neighbours. The camping field is backed by traditional hedgerows and slap bang amid the rural beauty of Pembrokeshire farmland.
We are a very friendly, family oriented camp site off the beaten path. We pride ourselves on offering a wonderfully relaxing base for your Pembrokeshire holiday. We are 10 minutes walk from the golden(ish) sands of Druidston Haven beach and a little less from the reknowned Druidstone Hotel.
Unzipping your tent reveals absolutely breathtaking sea views across St Brides Bay to the west. There are stunning sunsets year round over either Ramsey Island to the north or Skokholm and Skomer islands to the south, depending on the season.
We recently built a brand new unisex toilet and shower block which is fully open for business. There are 3 toilets and 3 showers as well as 2 wash-basins both with shaving points.
There is also a fridge/freezer, a sink for washing-up and an outdoor fresh water tap.
We run a book exchange in the porch of the main house, and offer local information leaflets. And you can even buy Shortlands Farm postcards to send off and tell all your friends about us!
The price for camping at Shortlands Farm is £7.50 per person, per night (under 3s are free).
We are a family friendly campsite and welcome children and well behaved dogs.
We ask that you pitch your tent and park your car considerately. In high season, we may ask that you park your car outside the camping field in the adjacent parking area.
If the famous Pembrokeshire weather becomes too much for you and your tent, we also rent The Granary Cottage – a recently converted (winter 2013/2014), under-floor heated traditional barn as well as our own static caravan which has mains electricity and full plumbing.
