The Old Granary is a beautifully renovated old Pembrokeshire stone building on Shortlands Farm at Druidston, within the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park. It enjoys wonderful views over St Brides Bay and is ideal for Self-Catering for 6 people (babies are welcome too) but can sleep up to 8 people by using the sofabed in the master bedroom.

The building was tastefully renovated in spring 2013 using local and reclaimed materials including slate and stone. There is underfloor heating throughout the holiday cottage and a wood burning stove to add to the cosy feel of the cottage.

  • There is a large master king-size bedroom (with sofabed), a double bedroom, and a twin bedroom.
  • The living room has two sofas and armchairs, with a TV and DVD/Bluray player. There are boardgames and books about the local area. The large oak dining table and chairs will seat up to 8 people.
  • There is a bathroom with toilet, sink and a shower over the bath. There is also a shower room with toilet, sink and large walk-in shower.
  • There is a modern fitted kitchen with electric hob and oven, fridge/freezer, microwave, toaster, kettle and washing machine.
  • Outside is a stunning terrace with furniture for al fresco meals and glorious views over St Brides Bay as far as Solva and Ramsey Island to the north and Skomer Island to the south.
  • There is parking space for two cars.
  • We accept dogs (maximum of 2 at a time) but ask that they are confined to the main living space and hallway.
  • Smoking is not permitted inside The Old Granary.
  • Prices include all heating, including logs and the provision of freshly-laundered bedlinen and towels.
  • Please ask us if you would like free use of a highchair.

The nearest food shop is 2 miles away at Broad Haven, while an award-winning, weekly Farmers Market (Fridays) and a choice of supermarkets is available at Haverfordwest, 6 miles to the east. The Old Granary is ideally located for exploring Pembrokeshire. The Pembrokeshire coast path is a stones throw from the farm and the safe, sandy beach at Druidston Haven is just 10 minutes walk away. Whether you visit to walk the coast path, to swim or surf, to fish or for bird watching, (peregrine falcon, chough and yellowhammer all nest on the farm), this is a retreat to escape to at any time of year.
