Camping

Shortlands Farm Camp Site is Pembrokeshire Camping!

Camping at Shortlands Farm is a friendly and laid back experience. We are off the beaten track and cater mainly to families, couples and small groups of friends who enjoy a busy day of beach activities followed by a hot shower, BBQ, and an evening socialising with friends or family.

Shortlands Farm is a family-friendly site and we welcome well-behaved dogs. We don’t allocate pitches so you are welcome to choose your own space in the field, we just ask you to respect your neighbours. Campers tend to congregate round the edge of the field which leaves plenty of space in the centre of the site for children – and adults – to play and form firm friendships.

The safe, secluded and relatively quiet beach at Druidston Haven is a 10 minute walk away, and Broad Haven with its beach, shops, pubs, cafes and surf hire is a 45 minute stroll along the coast path. The local bus, the Puffin Shuttle, runs from the end of the bridleway for those wishing to explore more of the rich and varied county of Pembrokeshire.

No visit to Shortlands Farm campsite would be complete without an evening of sitting round a campfire enjoying the incredible sunsets over St Brides Bay, followed by some stargazing.

  • “It was a pleasure to stay at this spectacularly situated campsite. The sea views are superb. The welcome from Kate and her family could not have been friendlier and there are so many things to do and see in the area you could easily fill a couple of weeks. It’s good that you can pitch your tent wherever you like in the field. The showers and loos were quiet, spotlessly clean and perfectly adequate. There is also a fridge and freezer for guests’ use. We will definitely be back”.

  • “We had a great time at this beautiful campsite. The facilities are fantastic and it’s great that the owners let you pitch where you want, which results in everyone having space. Kate gave us a very friendly welcome. Great access to the beach. Definitely returning.”

  • “My girlfriend and I, and two friends, spent four nights camping at Shortlands Farm and couldn’t have picked a better place! As the pictures suggest, the views from the campsite are outstanding. However, these pictures do not do it justice.”

  • “It’s a small site, with a good flat surface. The views out to sea are stunning. Friendly, laid back owners, good hot showers in a clean, well maintained block. A 5 minute walk down the bridle path adjoining the site takes you onto the road where you can walk down to Druidston beach and along the coastal path.”

  • “The owners were very welcoming and helpful. Great for families (dogs!). Showers and toilets were clean and had plenty of hot water – sometimes a little busy first thing/last thing. The owners sell wood and have fire pits – great to have a fire in the evening. We’ll definitely be going back.”

  • “We came for 3 days and ended up staying a week! Lovely quiet unspoilt site, very relaxed owners and very dog friendly. Showers and toilets very clean and lovely hot water.
