“It was a pleasure to stay at this spectacularly situated campsite. The sea views are superb. The welcome from Kate and her family could not have been friendlier and there are so many things to do and see in the area you could easily fill a couple of weeks. It’s good that you can pitch your tent wherever you like in the field. The showers and loos were quiet, spotlessly clean and perfectly adequate. There is also a fridge and freezer for guests’ use. We will definitely be back”.

“It’s a small site, with a good flat surface. The views out to sea are stunning. Friendly, laid back owners, good hot showers in a clean, well maintained block. A 5 minute walk down the bridle path adjoining the site takes you onto the road where you can walk down to Druidston beach and along the coastal path.”

“We had two fantastic days and nights at Shortlands Farm. The owners were so friendly and helpful. Facilities were great, lovely warm showers, spacious cubicles and what a setting.”

“The owners were very welcoming and helpful. Great for families (dogs!). Showers and toilets were clean and had plenty of hot water – sometimes a little busy first thing/last thing. The owners sell wood and have fire pits – great to have a fire in the evening. We’ll definitely be going back.”

“The location could not be better. The view is one you will never tire of. Great access to local pub, beach and coastal walks. We liked the laid back attitude of owners i.e. camp where you want, also being able to have a fire is a must for us, you can hire a burner and buy wood on site.”

“This is my favourite campsite in the world and it gets better every time we go! We just got back from a week long stay in our van with 3 young children. Lots of space and breathtaking views. The showers and wash up are lovely and hot and the toilets always clean. All the other campers were lovely people, and it is peaceful and safe for little children. Can’t wait for our next trip.”

“We had a fab family holiday here. The best things are the view, proximity to the beach and friendly atmosphere. The beach is a perfect sandy beach with the hotel halfway back up the cliff to the campsite. Perfect for ice creams and a post beach beer. We will come back!”

“Stayed here with the intention of staying just the 1 night, but due to it’s stunning location, excellent (free!) facilities and friendly owners, we had to extend that to 2. It’s a stunning location and an ideal spot. I would fully recommend a stay here and the showers were a godsend.”
